Odoo Integration

Stop Typing the Same Order Into Two Systems

Your store, your payment gateway, your bank and your courier already hold data Odoo needs. We connect them with monitored integrations that retry, log and reconcile, so records arrive on their own and both sides stay in step.

50+ ERP and software projects. Zero failed projects since 2021.

Why It Matters

Disconnected systems cost more than the integration does

Every manual re-entry is a delay and a chance to get a number wrong, and the errors usually surface at month-end.

One Version of the Numbers

Stock and cash that match across every system

When an order lands in the store but reaches Odoo a day later, your available stock is wrong for that day and someone oversells. Connected systems post the record as it happens, so what sales sees and what the warehouse sees are the same thing.

  • Orders and payments posted as they occur.
  • Stock levels pushed back to your sales channels.
  • Fewer oversells, short shipments and credit notes.

Existing Connectors First

We check what already exists before quoting a build

Odoo ships connectors for some systems and the community maintains others. Where one fits your mapping and is actively supported, using it is cheaper and safer than writing new code. We review the code quality and version support first, because an abandoned connector becomes your problem at the next upgrade.

  • Standard and community connectors reviewed first.
  • Version support and maintenance history checked.
  • Custom work only where nothing suitable exists.

What We Connect

The Odoo integrations businesses ask for most

Each is built against the provider's documented API and tested on your own sandbox account before it goes live.

🛒
E-commerce and marketplaces
Orders, customers and returns into Odoo, with stock and price updates pushed back to each channel.
💳
Payment gateways
Captures, refunds and settlement reports matched to the right invoice automatically.
🏦
Banking feeds
Daily statement imports with matching rules, so reconciliation stops being a monthly scramble.
🚚
Logistics and couriers
Shipment booking, label generation and tracking status written onto the delivery order.
👤
CRM and sales tools
Leads, contacts and won deals kept in step both ways, without duplicate partner records.
🔧
Legacy and in-house systems
Direct database reads, scheduled file exchange or a middleware service where there is no API.
How It Works

From API documentation to a monitored live connection

1
Review
We read both APIs, check the limits and look for an existing connector before quoting.
2
Map
We agree which fields move where, what wins on a conflict, and how errors are handled.
3
Build
Webhooks, scheduled jobs and logging written into your own Odoo module.
4
Test
We run it against sandbox accounts and staging data, including the failure cases.
5
Go live
We cut over, watch the first cycle closely and hand over the runbook.
What Is Included

What every integration ships with

🔗

Field mapping document

A written record of which field goes where and which system wins when both change.

⚡

Webhooks and scheduled jobs

Instant handling where it matters, batch handling where a retry is safer.

📋

Full request logging

Every call and response stored, so you can see exactly what was sent and when.

🔔

Retry and alerting

Automatic retry on transient errors and an alert naming the record if it still fails.

⚖

Reconciliation report

A regular count and value comparison between Odoo and the connected system.

🔑

Secure credentials

Keys held in encrypted configuration, never hard-coded and never in the repository.

Why Us

Why teams choose TCB Infotech for Odoo integration

1
We look for an existing connector
If a maintained one fits, we use it. Building from scratch is the fallback, not the default.
2
Failure cases are in scope
Retry, logging and alerting are built in, not bolted on after the first production incident.
3
We know both sides
We build ERP and software, so we can work on your other system too when it needs a change.
4
Upgrade-safe
Integrations live in your own module against the external API, so version upgrades stay routine.
5
Documented handover
You get the mapping, the runbook and the credential process, so your team can support it.
6
Proven delivery
50+ ERP and software projects across industries, with zero failed projects since 2021.
FAQ

Odoo integration questions

Which systems can you connect to Odoo?
Online stores and marketplaces, payment gateways, banks, couriers and logistics providers, CRM tools, warehouse and barcode systems, government filing portals, and in-house applications. Anything with an API, and several things without one.
Does Odoo not already have connectors for this?
For some systems, yes, and where a standard or well maintained third-party connector fits we use it rather than building from scratch. We check that first. Custom work starts where no connector exists, where the available one is unmaintained, or where your field mapping differs from what it assumes.
What if the other system has no API?
There is usually still a route. We can read a database directly, collect scheduled file exports over SFTP, parse emailed statements, or build a small middleware service between the two. We tell you which option applies before we quote.
Is the sync real time or scheduled?
Both, depending on the data. Orders and payments usually run on webhooks so they arrive within seconds. Product masters, price lists and reconciliation batches are better on a schedule, because retrying one batch is safer than retrying thousands of individual calls.
What happens when a sync fails?
Every job is logged and monitored. Transient failures retry automatically with backoff, and anything that still does not clear raises an alert naming the record and the error, so it gets fixed rather than silently skipped. A scheduled reconciliation report compares record counts on both sides.
Will the integration survive an Odoo version upgrade?
Yes, when it is built as a proper module against the external API rather than patched into core. We test every integration on a staging database as part of the upgrade, before you move production.

Odoo Integration Features

What Is Inside an Odoo Integration

An integration is more than a connection that works on a good day. Here is how we map the data, move it, watch it, and prove that both systems still agree at month-end.

Core Features

From connector review to a link you can trust at month-end

Review and Mapping

We check what exists, then agree the data contract

First we look for a standard or community connector that already fits, and review its maintenance history before recommending it. Then we write the mapping: which field goes where, what wins when both sides change, how currency, tax and units convert, and what counts as a duplicate.

  • Existing connectors reviewed for fit and version support.
  • A written field map with conflict rules.
  • Sign-off on the mapping before any code is written.

Logging, Retry and Alerts

Nothing fails quietly

Every request and response is stored, so you can look up exactly what was sent for any record. Transient failures retry with backoff on their own. Anything that still does not clear raises an alert naming the document and the error, so it is fixed the same day rather than at month-end.

  • Searchable request and response history.
  • Automatic retry with backoff.
  • Alerts that identify the failing record.

Reconciliation and Handover

Proof that both systems still agree

A scheduled report compares counts and values on each side and flags anything that has drifted, so a gap surfaces in days rather than quarters. At handover you get the mapping, the runbook, the credential rotation process and the monitoring setup, all documented.

  • Regular count and value comparison.
  • Runbook covering the common failure cases.
  • Credentials stored encrypted, never in the repository.

Connection Types

The ways we can reach another system

🔗

Odoo external API

XML-RPC and JSON-RPC against your database, with authentication and rate limits handled properly.

⚡

Webhooks

Inbound events handled within seconds, with signature verification and replay protection.

🕐

Scheduled sync jobs

Batch pulls and pushes on a timetable, safe to re-run without creating duplicates.

📁

File exchange

SFTP drops, CSV and Excel exports and emailed statements picked up and parsed automatically.

🗃

Direct database reads

A read-only route into a legacy system that has no API of its own.

🔧

Custom middleware

A small service between the two systems when neither can reach the other directly.
