Keep Tally for the Books, Stop the Double Entry Around It

Tally handles accounting well. The trouble starts when orders, stock and dispatch live somewhere else and the same entry gets typed twice. We connect Tally to the systems around it, build the reports your team rebuilds in Excel every month, and plan the move to a fuller system only when you actually need one.

50+ ERP and software projects. Zero failed projects since 2021.

Why It Matters

The problem is usually around Tally, not inside it

Accounts are fine. What hurts is the sales sheet, the stock register, the dispatch file and the accountant all holding slightly different versions of the same day.

One Entry, Once

The order your sales team took should not be typed again

When an order is entered on a portal, written in a register and later keyed into Tally, you are paying for the same work three times and collecting three chances to get it wrong. A proper connection posts it once, against the right ledger and godown.

  • Orders and bills posted into Tally automatically.
  • Stock and ledger balances read back out.
  • Errors logged and reprocessed, never silently dropped.

Reports Without Leaving Tally

Stop rebuilding the same Excel file every month

Party-wise margin, branch comparison, multi-company consolidation and item movement usually get assembled by hand. Pulling Tally data into a reporting layer gives you those views with drill-down, while your accounts team keeps working exactly as they do now.

  • Dashboards on live Tally data.
  • Multi-company and multi-branch views together.
  • No change to how vouchers are entered.

What We Connect

The links that remove the most manual work

Each connection runs on a schedule with a log and a retry, so your accounts team sees what came through and what needs attention rather than discovering a gap at month-end.

→E-commerce and marketplace ordersDailySales, returns and settlement entries posted with the right tax treatment.
→Field sales and dealer appLiveOrders raised on the road land as vouchers without a re-entry queue.
↔Warehouse and stock systemHourlyMovements in, balances out, so the register and the godown agree.
→Bank statementsDailyImported and matched against receipts and payments instead of ticked by hand.
←Outstanding on mobileLiveParty ageing in the hands of the person making the collection call.
↔Production or job systemDailyConsumption and output posted, with job cost visible against the ledger.
How We Deliver

From the double-entry list to a system that keeps itself in step

1
Find the duplication
We list every place the same information is entered more than once, and what it costs.
2
Agree the mapping
Which ledger, godown, voucher type and tax head each incoming record should hit.
3
Build the connection
A two-way sync with scheduling, validation, logging and a retry for failed records.
4
Run in parallel
Manual entry continues alongside for a period until the posted figures match exactly.
5
Hand over and support
Your team gets the log, the controls and a support line for anything that needs attention.

FAQ

Tally services questions

What Tally services do you provide?
Three things, mainly. We connect Tally to the other systems you run so the same entry is not typed twice. We build the custom vouchers, invoice formats and reports your team currently rebuilds in Excel. And when a business genuinely outgrows Tally, we plan and run the move to a fuller system without losing history.
Can Tally be connected to our website or sales system?
Yes. Orders from a website, a dealer portal or a sales application can flow into Tally as vouchers, and stock and ledger balances can flow back out so your other systems show current figures. The sync runs on a schedule with a log, so a failed record is visible and can be reprocessed rather than quietly lost.
Do we have to leave Tally to get better reporting?
No. Most reporting gaps can be closed by pulling Tally data into a reporting layer, where you get dashboards, drill-down and multi-company views without changing how your accounts team works. Your books stay in Tally and nobody has to learn a new accounting tool.
When does a business actually outgrow Tally?
Usually when operations outgrow accounting: several locations to control, production to plan, approval workflows to enforce, or many users needing role-based access. Tally keeps handling the books well, but the work around it starts living in spreadsheets. That is the point to look at a fuller system, and we will tell you plainly if you are not there yet.
Can you migrate our Tally data to a new ERP?
Yes. We extract masters and transactions from Tally, clean and map them, load them into the new system and reconcile the closing balances against Tally before switchover, so the numbers you go live with match the numbers you had.
Will customization break when Tally is upgraded?
Not when it is built properly. We keep changes modular and documented, and we test them against a new release before you upgrade in production, so an upgrade stays a planned event rather than a surprise.
