ERPNext Training

Training on Your Own Data, Not a Demo Company

An ERP is only adopted when each team can complete its own work in it without asking for help. We train role by role on a copy of your configured instance, with your items, customers and approval rules, until every department can run a full cycle unaided.

50+ ERP and software projects. Zero failed projects since 2021.

Why It Matters

Systems do not get rejected, they get worked around

When people are unsure how to do something in the ERP, they do it in a spreadsheet instead, and the data quietly stops being reliable.

Practice, Not Presentation

People remember what they have done, not what they watched

Each session is hands-on. Everyone is logged in under their own role and posts their own documents while we are in the room, so the first time a purchase manager raises a real order is not the first time they have seen the screen.

  • Everyone on their own login and permissions.
  • Real transactions posted during the session.
  • Homework between sessions, reviewed at the next one.

Independence by Design

Your administrator should not have to call us for a new user

The administrator track covers the routine work that otherwise becomes a support ticket every week: adding users and permissions, adjusting a print format, editing a workflow, checking background jobs and knowing where to look when something fails.

  • Users, roles and permission rules.
  • Print formats, naming series and workflows.
  • Backups, job queues and first-line diagnosis.

How We Deliver

Training formats we run

Most rollouts use a mix, depending on how many sites and shifts you need to cover.

๐Ÿข
On-site sessions
At your office, department by department, which works best for stores, dispatch and shop floor teams.
๐Ÿ’ป
Live online sessions
Screen-shared and recorded, useful for multi-location teams and for anyone who misses a date.
๐Ÿ‘ค
Train the trainer
We take a few internal champions deeper so they can run future sessions for their own departments.
โš™
Administrator track
A longer technical track for the person who will own users, permissions and routine configuration.
๐Ÿ”„
Refresher sessions
Short follow-ups a month after go-live, once people have hit the situations training never covers.
๐Ÿ“š
Written role guides
Step-by-step guides written against your own configuration, kept for new joiners later.
How It Works

From a training plan to teams working unaided

1
Plan
We list who does what in the system and build a track for each role.
2
Prepare
A training copy of your instance is set up with your data and real logins.
3
Deliver
Short hands-on sessions per role, with practice work in between.
4
Assess
Each team runs a full cycle on its own, and we note where people still hesitate.
5
Reinforce
Guides and recordings are handed over, with a refresher after go-live.

Why Us

Why teams choose TCB Infotech for ERPNext training

1
Trained by implementers
The people teaching your team are the ones who configure ERPNext, so the answers are specific.
2
Your instance, your data
Sessions run on a copy of your setup, which also exposes configuration gaps early.
3
Short sessions, spaced out
Two hours with practice in between beats two days that nobody retains.
4
Assessment, not attendance
A track is finished when the team completes a cycle unaided, not when the slides end.
5
Built for independence
We aim to make your administrator self-sufficient for routine changes.
6
Proven delivery
50+ ERP and software projects across industries, with zero failed projects since 2021.
FAQ

ERPNext training questions

Who should attend ERPNext training?
Everyone who will enter or approve a transaction, split by role rather than trained as one large group. Finance, stores and dispatch, purchase, sales, production and HR each get their own session, plus a separate deeper session for whoever will administer the system internally.
Do you train on sample data or ours?
Yours, on a training copy of your configured instance. People learn far faster when the item codes, customers and approval rules on screen are the ones they already recognise, and it surfaces configuration gaps while there is still time to fix them.
How long does training take?
Most rollouts need 5 to 10 sessions spread across two to three weeks, each about two to three hours. Short sessions with practice in between work much better than a two-day marathon nobody remembers.
Can you train the person who will administer ERPNext internally?
Yes. The administrator track covers users and role permissions, naming series, print formats, workflows, the customize view, background jobs, backups and where to look when something fails. The aim is that routine changes stop needing us at all.
What happens when we hire new staff later?
You keep the recorded sessions and the role guides written against your own configuration, which covers most new joiners. We also run refresher or new-hire sessions on request, and they are included in the change hours on our support plans.
Do you train teams that did not implement with you?
Yes. We start by reviewing your instance so the training matches how it is actually configured rather than a generic ERPNext course. If we find setup problems that would confuse users, we flag them before the sessions begin.

ERPNext Training Features

What Is Inside Our ERPNext Training

Tracks built per role, run on a copy of your own instance, and finished only when the team can complete its work unaided. Here is what each track covers and what you keep afterwards.

Core Features

Built around what each person actually has to do

Role-Based Tracks

Nobody sits through screens they will never open

We start from a list of who does what in the system, then build a separate track per role. A stores team learns receipts, transfers and counts. Finance learns invoicing, payments and the close. Each track follows one end-to-end business cycle rather than touring the menu.

  • A track per department, not one combined course.
  • Built around your real document flow.
  • Approval limits and permissions as they will be in production.

Hands-On and Assessed

A track ends when the team can run the cycle alone

Every attendee is logged in under their own role and posts their own documents during the session, with practice work in between. At the end each team runs a complete cycle without help while we watch, and we note where people hesitated so those points get a second pass.

  • Individual logins with production permissions.
  • Practice work reviewed at the following session.
  • A final unaided run-through per department.

Administrator Track

So routine changes stop needing an outside call

A deeper technical track for whoever will own the system internally: adding users and role permissions, naming series, print formats, workflows, the customize view, background jobs, backups and the first steps of diagnosing a failure before it becomes a ticket.

  • Users, roles and permission rules end to end.
  • Print formats, naming series and workflow edits.
  • Backups, job queues and first-line diagnosis.
