Microsoft 365 AI Integration

The Apps You Already Use All Day, Connected to Your ERP

Outlook, Excel, Teams and SharePoint already hold most of your operational data, in emails, spreadsheets and documents that never make it into the ERP without someone retyping them. This integration connects those apps to your ERP directly and adds AI inside them: extracting order details from an email, drafting a report from live ERP data in Excel, flagging what needs a person.

50+ ERP and software projects. Zero failed projects since 2021.

Why It Matters

The data is already in your inbox, it just never leaves it

Most operational information passes through Outlook and Excel long before, or instead of, ever reaching the ERP.

Email Becomes Data

Stop retyping what a customer already emailed you

An order confirmation, a change request or a query about a delivery date usually arrives as an email and gets manually re-typed into the ERP, if it gets there at all. AI reads the email, extracts the relevant details, and either posts them or drafts a reply, with anything unclear flagged.

  • Order and request details extracted from email text.
  • Extracted data posted directly into your ERP.
  • Unclear cases flagged for a person, not guessed at.

Live Data in Excel

The report template stays, the manual pull does not

Your team already has report templates in Excel they trust. Instead of exporting from the ERP and pasting values in, the same template pulls live ERP data directly, so the report is always current and the format never has to change.

  • Existing Excel templates connected to live ERP data.
  • No manual export and paste required.
  • Reports current at the moment they are opened.

Connect through Microsoft Graph
We build the connection using Microsoft's supported APIs, under your tenant's permissions.
3
Connect to your ERP
We link the same integration into your ERP's API or database for read and write access.
4
Add the AI capability
We build the extraction, drafting or lookup capability specific to the app and task.
5
Test and roll out
We test with real emails and documents, then extend to more apps once it is proven.

FAQ

Microsoft 365 AI integration questions

What does Microsoft 365 AI integration actually do?
It connects the Microsoft 365 apps your team already uses, such as Outlook, Excel, Teams and SharePoint, to your ERP, and adds AI capability inside them, such as extracting order details from an email or drafting a report from ERP data directly in Excel.
Do we need Microsoft's own AI features enabled?
No, this is built independently of any specific Microsoft AI feature. The integration uses Microsoft's Graph API and standard connectors to read and write data, and the AI layer is model-agnostic, so it does not depend on one vendor's assistant being available.
Which Microsoft 365 apps can be connected?
Outlook, Excel, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive are the most common starting points, each connected through Microsoft's supported APIs. We assess your specific tenant setup before proposing what is realistic.
Can it read and act on emails automatically?
Yes, with your approval. It can classify incoming emails, extract order or request details, and either draft a response or post the extracted data into your ERP, with anything uncertain flagged for a person.
Is our email and document data kept secure?
The integration runs under your organisation's existing Microsoft 365 permissions and access controls, so it can only see what the connected account is already authorised to access.
How long does a first integration take?
A first integration covering one app, such as Outlook or Excel, usually takes five to seven weeks, depending on your tenant configuration and the ERP connection involved.
In Short

The tools your team already trusts, doing more of the work

Outlook and Excel are not the problem, they are where a huge amount of real business data already lives, just disconnected from the ERP that is supposed to be the system of record.

Connecting them properly, with AI handling the extraction and drafting, closes that gap without asking anyone to learn a new tool or change how they work day to day.
