Why It Matters

The bottleneck you find in testing is cheaper than the one your users find

Applications that work fine with ten test users can fall over at a thousand real ones. A dedicated performance tester finds where that happens before launch day does.

Realistic, Not Synthetic

Load tests built around how your users actually behave

Generic load scripts miss the traffic patterns that matter. A dedicated tester models realistic user journeys and ramps load the way a real launch or promotion actually spikes traffic.

  • Load scenarios modeled on real usage patterns.
  • Ramp-up testing, not just flat concurrency.
  • Response-time thresholds agreed with you upfront.

The Bottleneck, Not Just the Symptom

Finding what actually breaks, not just that something did

A slow page could be the database, the application layer, or the network. A dedicated tester isolates the actual bottleneck, so your engineers fix the right thing the first time.

  • Bottleneck isolated to database, app or network.
  • Clear reports engineers can act on directly.
  • Retesting after fixes to confirm the gain.

How Hiring Works

From requirements to a working performance tester in about two weeks

1
Share requirements
Tell us your application, expected traffic, and the release or launch you are testing against.
2
Shortlist
We match testers by load-tool experience and send you 2 to 3 profiles within days.
3
Interview
You interview the shortlist directly and pick the tester who fits your stack and your team.
4
Onboard
The tester reviews your architecture and traffic patterns and runs the first load test in the first week.
5
Scale as needed
Move the tester to scoped engagements before each major launch, or keep them on for ongoing capacity work.
What's Included

Everything you need to run the engagement smoothly

🎯

Dedicated to your application

The tester works only on your load tests, not spread across other clients' launches.

💬

Direct communication

You and your team talk to the tester directly, with no extra layer in between.

📅

Flexible contracts

Full time, part time, or scoped to a launch. Scale up or down with notice.

✅

Threshold reviews

Response-time and error-rate thresholds are agreed upfront and reported against clearly.

🌐

Timezone overlap

Working hours arranged to overlap with your team for test windows and retesting.

🔐

Replacement guarantee

If the tester is not the right fit, we replace them at no extra cost during the engagement.

FAQ

Hiring performance testers, answered

What does a dedicated performance tester do?
They design load tests that simulate realistic traffic, measure response times and error rates as load increases, identify the specific bottleneck, whether it is database, application or network, and report thresholds against your targets.
How is a performance tester different from an automation tester?
An automation tester checks that features work correctly on every build. A performance tester checks how the application behaves under load, which is a different skill set built around load-generation tools and bottleneck diagnosis rather than functional coverage.
Do you test for a specific number of concurrent users?
Yes. We agree target concurrency and response-time thresholds with you upfront, based on your actual or expected traffic, and test against those numbers rather than generic benchmarks.
Can performance testing be done on our existing production environment?
We strongly recommend testing on a staging environment that mirrors production, to avoid impacting real users, and can help set that environment up if you do not already have one.
What is the engagement model?
You can hire full time, part time, or scoped to a specific load test before a major launch. Contracts scale around your release calendar.
What if the tester is not the right fit?
We replace the tester at no extra cost during the engagement, and hand over test scripts and results history to the new one.
