Why It Matters

Resource groups sprawl fast without one owner

Subscriptions grown organically end up with duplicated resources, inconsistent naming, and access nobody remembers granting. A dedicated engineer keeps it organized as you scale.

Access That Makes Sense

Role-based access, reviewed regularly

Azure's flexibility makes it easy to grant broad roles just to unblock someone quickly, and easy to forget to revoke them. A dedicated engineer sets up role-based access aligned to actual job needs, and reviews it on a schedule.

  • Roles scoped to actual job needs.
  • Access reviewed on a regular schedule.
  • Key Vault used for secrets, not hardcoding.

Monitoring that catches problems early

Without dedicated monitoring, the first sign of trouble is often a user complaint. A dedicated engineer sets up alerts on cost and health, so problems surface before they become incidents.

  • Cost alerts before the bill surprises you.
  • Health monitoring across every resource.
  • Right-sizing reviewed as load changes.

What the Resource Group Looks Like

One resource group, kept healthy

The same structure applies whether the subscription runs a handful of services or a full production platform.

FAQ

Hiring Microsoft Azure engineers, answered

What does a dedicated Microsoft Azure engineer do?
They provision and manage your Azure resource groups: compute, storage, networking and databases, set up role-based access controls, and keep an eye on cost and uptime as your usage grows.
How is an Azure engineer different from a Linux administrator?
An Azure engineer manages the cloud resources and services themselves. A Linux administrator manages the operating system and services running inside the virtual machines. Many setups need both. See our Linux Administrators if your gap is at the OS level.
Can the engineer work in our existing Azure subscription?
Yes. The engineer can work inside your existing subscription and infrastructure as code setup, or help you build one if you are starting fresh.
Do you only work with Azure, or other cloud providers too?
We place dedicated engineers for Microsoft Azure, AWS and Google Cloud. If your infrastructure runs on a different provider, see our AWS Engineers or Google Cloud Engineers instead.
What is the engagement model?
You can hire full time, part time, or for the length of a specific migration or build-out. Contracts scale as your infrastructure grows.
What if the engineer is not the right fit?
We replace the engineer at no extra cost during the engagement, and hand over infrastructure documentation and access to the new one.
